In Kharif marketing year 2019-20, a decision was taken regarding disposal of unripe paddy procured on support price. For the disposal of the estimated 2.27 lakh metric tonnes of paddy remaining in the post-drought collection center, it has canceled the target of depositing the remaining 1.72 lakh metric tonnes of rice by custom milling, against the previously set target of 28.55 lakh tonnes of rice in Chhattisgarh State Civil Supplies Corporation. In addition to the remaining quantity of 92,000 tonnes, 60,000 tonnes were allowed to be deposited in the Chhattisgarh State Civil Supplies Corporation in the State Pool of Rice.

92 lakh metric paddy has been purchased in the state at the support price in the Kharif marketing year 2020-21. 24 lakhs in the Food Corporation of India by the Government of India.
