The Chhattisgarh government today released the first installment of the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel transferred the amount to the accounts of the farmers of the state through video conferencing. In the year 2020-21, the amount was transferred to 21.5 million farmers who sold paddy.
The government gave the first installment of about Rs. 150 crore through the Kisan Nyaya Yojana. Along with this, CM Baghel gave Rs 7 crore 17 lakh in lieu of cow dung to about 72 thousand cattle herders from March 15 to May 15 and Rs 3.6 crore to Gowthan committees and women self-help groups under the Godhan Nyaya Yojana. Under the Godan Nyaya Yojana, a total of 88 crore 15 lakh rupees have been paid so far to the cattle rearers and villagers. The Chief Minister read out the message of MP Sonia Gandhi in the program. Rajya Sabha MP PL Punia also joined the program through video conferencing.

Geeta, Chief Minister Siddharth Komal Singh Pardeshi and Director Agriculture Agriculture Amrit Khalko were present. MPs, MLAs, other people’s representatives, farmers and cattle rearers were also involved in video conferencing in the program.
