Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Wednesday inaugurated the newly constructed Vedanta Cares Field Hospital on behalf of Anil Agarwal Foundation near Balco Medical Center in Sector-36, Naya Raipur from his residence office. This 100-bed air-conditioned hospital has 90-bed oxygen-rich and 10-bed ventilator facilities. The Vedanta group is building state-of-the-art Kovid field hospitals in 10 cities of the country, including Chhattisgarh. A 100-bed Kovid Center is already being operated at Balconagar in Korba district for the treatment and care of needy patients. Forest Minister Mohammad Akbar, Public Health and Engineering Minister Guru Rudra Kumar and Urban Administration Minister Dr. Shiv Kumar Dahria, Advisor to the Chief Minister Vinod Verma and Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Subrata Sahu were also present during the occasion. Along with this, Vedanta group chairman Nil Aggarwal also joined through video conferencing.
