Under National Road Safety Week, the Traffic Wing of Bharat Aluminum Company Limited (Balco) organized a free health check-up and awareness camp for the drivers of trucks coming to the Balco plant. Common seasonal illnesses at the camp as well as eye screening. The drivers were also told about the symptoms and prevention of HIV AIDS. Truck drivers who had vision problems were given free goggles. More than 100 truck drivers benefited from the health camp organized by Balco. The beneficiaries described the BALCO event as excellent.
