District Antyapasayi Cooperative Development Committee has invited applications in the prescribed format to set up business and self-employment from interested applicants of scheduled tribe category of the district till June 10 for a possible proposal in the year 2021-22. Executive Officer, District Antyapasari Cooperative Development Corporation, Amarnath Jain said that applications have been invited from the applicants of the said category to establish business or self-employment in the agriculture, industry, transport and service sectors, under which the Tractor Trolley Scheme, Dairy Yona from Agriculture Sector , Applications have been invited for fisheries, goat farming, vermi compost and poultry business (all term loan schemes). Under the micro credit scheme for self help groups from this sector, loans will be provided for fisheries, poultry, spices, rice mills, pulses mills etc. He also informed that under term loan scheme from industry sector, loan will also be given for fabrication, bakery, cement pole and flowerpot construction, BRICS construction. Apart from this, provision has been made for loans from the transport sector under the Goods Carrier Scheme, Passenger Vehicles Scheme. Besides, loans will be sanctioned under the term loan scheme for grocery business, beauty parlor, computer center, coaching, photocopying, stationery, textile business from service sector and catering, donna-pattal, masala, bakery business under micro credit scheme to SHGs. For, tribal women empowerment group will be provided loan for business of beauty parlor, tailoring, general stores etc.
The Executive Officer of the committee, Amarnath Jain said that on receipt of the proposed application from the applicants, further action will be taken regarding the disbursement of the loan to the selected applicants after meeting the selection committee as per eligibility, if the actual target for the financial year 2021-22 is received from the corporation headquarters Raipur. Giving information about the eligibility and conditions of the applicants, he said that the applicant should be a member of the Scheduled Tribes and be a native of the district. The annual income of the applicant residing in the rural area should be Rs 98 thousand and the annual income of the applicant in the urban area should be Rs 1 lakh 20 thousand and his age should be between 18 and 50 years. Income (financial year 2020-21), caste, residence certificate should be issued by the competent officer. The applicant will have to give an affidavit to the effect that loan or grant has not been availed in any government scheme in the past. Applicants of transport sector schemes must have a valid commercial driving license. It is necessary to have five acres of agricultural land in the name or right of the applicant for tractor trolley business and that tractor trolley, cargo and passenger vehicle should not be available in the past. He also informed that the applicant’s own passport size photograph, caste, residence, income certificate, Aadhaar, voter card, bank account, educational qualification, ration card along with all the desired documents in room number-48 located in the collectorate premises Attendees can submit their applications by 10 June in office hours.
