Like the previous rains at the Maghi Punni fair held every year in Rajim, known as Prayagraj of Chhattisgarh, all necessary arrangements will be made for the convenience of devotees. Home and Religion Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu said that in view of the Corona Guide Line of the Government of India, no official event will be organized in the fair. He was addressing the meeting of Maghi Punni Mela Central Committee in the meeting room of Nagar Panchayat Rajim today.
Minister of Religion Shri Sahu said in the meeting of the Central Fair Committee that the Rajim Maghi Punni Mela will be organized spontaneously. The administration should make arrangements for the safety, convenience and traffic arrangements of the pilgrims. He said that for the convenience of the people, roads, toilets, electricity, water, health, sanitation etc. should be arranged like previous rains. He said that no stage programs will be organized due to Kovid-19 but the faith of the general public and devotees will also be respected. He said that devotees visiting the fair should be urged to follow masks, sanitizers, physical distancing to avoid corona infection. In the meeting, Forest Minister Mohammad Akbar said that bamboo, ball and other help will be provided at the fair.
