Adani Foundation organized multispecialty health camp in Ghatbarra, more than 100 villagers took benefit…

Ambikapur. A one-day multispecialty health camp was organized by Adani Foundation on Saturday in village Ghatbarra of Udaipur block. A total of 110 villagers, including residents of neighboring villages Fatehpur and Tara, were given medical advice in a multi-level free health camp organized under the joint aegis of the famous Sadhu Ram Prahlad Rai Hospital of Ambikapur under the social concerns of Rajasthan State Electricity Generation Corporation Limited. During this time, pediatrician Dr. Ankit Pawar, general physician MD Dr. Imtiaz Ali, orthopedic surgeon Dr. B Rakesh, gynecologist Dr. BV Sharanya, Adani Enterprises (AEL) doctor Dr. Deepak Kumar Pangle and A team of expert doctors including Dr. Chandra Nath Dey provided their services in the camp.

After free check-up and consultation of the villagers who reached the camp, necessary medicines were also distributed. The main objective of this health camp was to create health awareness among the villagers in rural areas and to provide timely treatment of serious diseases by conducting necessary health related tests.

During this, Sarpanch of village Ghatbarra Jaynandan Singh Porte, village representative Kashi Prasad Yadav, Banas Armo, former head Pathak Ram Bilas Yadav and other villagers attended the camp and received health related counseling and free medicines. On this occasion, Saurabh Singh of Adani Foundation and Amit Roy of AEL played an important role in overseeing the management of the camp.

Adani Foundation is running many programs of education, health, infrastructure development and livelihood upliftment under social participation in Udaipur block of Surguja district. In which the Central Board of Education is providing quality free education in English medium along with nutritious food, uniform, books, copy school bags etc. to more than 900 tribal children.

Along with this, many livelihood courses are being run in the Skill Development Center to make the local youth and women self-reliant. In which a total of 95 trainees, including 35 men of Assistant Electrician trade and 60 women of Sewing Machine Operator training, which was conducted last year, were given certificates and kits for their success in the training. Adani Foundation empowers communities and individuals to become self-reliant and contribute to the development of the nation.
