A government college will be built in Gudhiyari of the capital, provision made in the budget on the demand of former minister Rajesh Munat

Raipur. Chhattisgarh’s capital Raipur is going to get a new gift soon. Former cabinet minister and BJP MLA Rajesh Munat said that soon a new building of Government Naveen Mahavidyalaya Gudhiyari will be constructed in Gudhiyari area of Raipur city at a cost of one crore. He said that vacant government land near the community building has been marked for the construction of this college. Now discussions will be held with the Collector Raipur to allot it in the name of Higher Education Department and give advance possession. After getting advance possession, its estimate will be prepared and action will be taken to get administrative approval.

Actually, for a long time there was a demand for a government college in Gudhiyari area. After the construction of this school, students of the entire Gudhiyari area will not have to go far for college studies.

The place where the college is to be built falls within the boundary of Raipur West Assembly constituency. Former cabinet minister and senior MLA Rajesh Munat is the MLA from here. Munat said that while he was a minister, he had started a government new college in Gudhiyari in the year 2018, but after the Congress government came to power, neither provision was made in the budget for the construction of the building of this college nor was land searched for the entire 5 years. Now there is a BJP government in Chhattisgarh again, so the stalled development work will be completed at a fast pace.

Rajesh Moonat said that in this year’s budget, provision was made for the construction of the college building and now the land for it has also been discovered. This college building will be built on the vacant government land in front of the community building of the Municipal Corporation located behind Kota Ram Darbar. Thousands of children of the area will benefit from this.
