Constant efforts are being made to provide clean drinking water to everyone in the state. In this series, 90 water schemes were approved at a cost of Rs 69 crore 45 lakh in the meeting of Durg District Water and Sanitation Committee. Through these schemes, 26 thousand 562 families will be provided with null connections. This is a major step towards providing adequate drinking water to all citizens. Collector Dr. Sarveshwar Narendra Bhure reviewed the works of the Water and Sanitation Mission. He said that this work of providing pure drinking water to the people is important. Take action on it fast. In the meeting, the committee approved the invitation to tender for 30 approved water schemes. It is noteworthy that the notification was issued after the Cabinet meeting on 13 February. In this, various works survey, DPR, administrative approval, invitation of tender, mandate for the implementation of the village water supply scheme-retrofitting works (works within the village) through single-group tender for implementation of water life mission. All rights related to issuance and execution and financial rights up to Rs five crore have been assigned to the District Water and Sanitation Mission.
