20 pregnant women were vaccinated against Kovid-19 by running a special campaign at Urban Primary Health Center Urla. The main objective of this campaign is to reduce the risk of Kovid-19 in pregnant women. On this occasion, in-charge of Urban Primary Health Center Dr. Manoj Kumar Burman said, “For the first time in Raipur district, 20 pregnant women have been vaccinated against Kovid-19 together. For this, awareness campaigns have been conducted regularly in the area. The curiosity in the minds of the people has been pacified and they have been informed that the COVID-19 vaccination reduces the risk of pregnant women getting Kovid-19. Also, there is no side effect of vaccination on the child. This campaign has been started from Urban Primary Health Center Urla, now pregnant women will be vaccinated against Kovid-19 regularly in the coming time”. Kovid-19 vaccine is completely safe, the work of regular Kovid vaccination is going on in the district. Having a Kovid vaccination reduces the risk of becoming Kovid-19 positive. Therefore all people above 18 years of age should be vaccinated to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
