June 3 (Language) In Chhattisgarh, during the last 24 hours, 1619 new people have confirmed corona virus infection. With this, the total number of people infected with this virus in the state has increased to 9,76,760.
On Thursday, 756 people were discharged from hospitals after becoming infection free in the state, while 3098 people completed the period of home isolation. 22 corona virus infected patients have died in the state.
State Health Department officials said on Thursday that 1619 new cases of infection have come. These include 70 from Raipur district, 38 from Durg, 13 from Rajnandgaon, 36 from Balod, eight from Bemetara, 24 from Kabirdham, 57 from Dhamtari, 78 from Balodabazar, 47 from Mahasamund, 19 from Gariaband, 42 from Bilaspur, 135 from Raigarh, 98 from Korba, 95 from Janjgir Champa, 27 from Mungeli, 23 from Gaurela Pendra Marwahi, 83 from Surguja, 68 from Korea, 107 from Surajpur, 93 from Balrampur, 111 from Jashpur, 78 from Bastar, 40 from Kondagaon, 40 from Dantewada , 86 from Sukma, 10 from Kanker, 15 from Narayanpur, and 78 from Bijapur.
He said that so far 9,76,760 people have been confirmed infected in Chhattisgarh, out of which 9,34,243 patients have become infection free after treatment, 29,378 patients are under treatment in the state. 13,139 people infected with the virus have died in the state.
