On January 6, 1,050 more corona virus infections have been confirmed in Chhattisgarh during the last 24 hours.
The number of people infected so far by this virus in the state has increased to 2,85,586.
On Wednesday, 106 people in the state were discharged from hospitals after becoming infection-free and 851 people completed isolation in their homes. Seven people infected with the corona virus died in the last 24 hours in the state.
State Health Department officials said on Wednesday that 1,050 cases of infection were reported on Wednesday.
Officials said that the number of passengers arriving from Britain after December 9 in the state is 65. Of this, samples of 53 passengers have been sent for examination of Kovid-19, while 12 other passengers are in other locations outside the state.
He said that samples of 47 of these passengers have not confirmed infection. Six passengers have been found infected and are being treated. After the RT-PCR test confirmed the infection, samples of these patients have been sent to a Pune-based laboratory for high-level examination.
Officials said that so far 2,85,586 people have been confirmed infected in Chhattisgarh, of which 2,73,030 patients have become infection free after treatment and 9,109 patients are undergoing treatment. A total of 3,447 people infected with the virus have died in the state.
