In Chhattisgarh, 1034 new cases of Kovid-19 were reported during the last 24 hours, due to which the number of people infected with this virus in the state increased to 9,84,950.
On Thursday, 292 people were discharged from hospitals in the state after becoming infection-free, while 1566 people completed the period of home isolation. 14 corona virus infected patients died in the state.
State Health Department officials said on Thursday that 1034 new cases of infection were reported today. These include 113 from Raipur district, 34 from Durg, 13 from Rajnandgaon, 27 from Balod, nine from Bemetara, 10 from Kabirdham, 26 from Dhamtari, 47 from Balodabazar, 29 from Mahasamund.
He said that so far 9,84,950 people have been confirmed infected in Chhattisgarh. 9,54,390 patients have become infection free after treatment, 17,275 patients are under treatment in the state. 13,285 people infected with the virus have died in the state.
In Raipur district of the state, maximum number of 1,56,692 people have confirmed corona virus infection. Corona virus infected 3117 people have died in the district.
