103 lakh metric tonnes of paddy lifted for custom milling

Due to the efficient management of the state government under the leadership of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel, so far more than 103 lakh metric tonnes of paddy has been lifted for custom milling, while DO has been issued for lifting of more than 106 lakh metric tonnes of paddy. Is. This year, 107.53 lakh metric tonnes of paddy has been successfully procured from the farmers at the support price. It is noteworthy that on the initiative of the Chief Minister, on the lines of last year, this year also along with paddy procurement, the lifting of paddy was started directly from the procurement centers for custom milling, due to which the state government has seen a significant reduction in transportation expenditure. Along with this, the long process of paddy lifting after procurement of paddy has also been relieved. The state government has procured 107.53 lakh metric tonnes of paddy from more than 23 lakh 42 thousand farmers till January 31, 2023. 22 thousand 67 crore rupees have been paid to the farmers for the purchase of paddy.
