10 percent subsidy on the price of the vehicle to promote electric vehicles in Chhattisgarh

Transport Minister Mr. Mohammad Akbar today distributed subsidy amounting to Rs.80 lakh 37 thousand 128 to 404 beneficiaries across the state under Electric Vehicle Policy 2022. He distributed it and congratulated the beneficiaries and said that every possible initiative is being taken to promote electric vehicles in Chhattisgarh as per the intention of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel. Transport Minister Mr. Akbar said on the occasion that any person who Buys electric vehicle, he can get subsidy from the state government. For this, the vehicle seller dealer has to give his account number and IFS code. 10 percent of the value of the vehicle, subject to a maximum of Rs 1.5 lakh, will be directly transferred to the account of the electric vehicle buyer by the transport department. Transport Minister Mr. Akbar further informed that petrol and diesel are being used for the operation of vehicles in Chhattisgarh. For the fulfillment of which there is dependence on other countries and with the passage of time their prices are also increasing continuously. In such a situation, electric vehicle has emerged as a good alternative. We need to adopt this more and more.
