The announcement by Bhupesh Baghel to install the statue of Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh in the joint district office complex has been started fast by the district administration. On December 10, Chief Minister Mr. Baghel had announced the installation of a statue in the district office premises, Balodabazar, on the demand of the descendants of Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh and tribal society during his stay at Sonakhan. District Collector Mr. Sunil Kumar Jain said that with the approval of the state government, sanction of Rs 10 lakh has been granted for the installation of the statue in the campus. Of this, Rs 5 lakh has been approved from General Administration Department and Rs 5 lakh from Mineral Trust Fund (DMF). The Public Works Department has been entrusted with the responsibility of completing this work.
