Under the Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Bhumiless Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana of Chhattisgarh Government, so far more than 2 lakh 58 thousand 846 applicants have applied for registration under the scheme in different districts of the state. It is noteworthy that since last September, applications under the scheme are being given in various gram panchayats. Application forms will be given till 30 November 2021. Under the scheme, all such native landless agricultural laborers in rural areas of Chhattisgarh who are eligible as on April 1, 2021, will be eligible to get the benefit of this scheme, whose families do not have agricultural land. Government land obtained on lease such as forest rights certificate will be considered as agricultural land. Under the scheme, under the rural landless agricultural laborer families, families associated with the poor farming system like shepherds, carpenters, blacksmiths, cobblers, barbers, washermen, priests, forest produce collectors and other classes fixed by the government from time to time will also be eligible. There is no agricultural land. Under the scheme, grant amount of Rs. 6 thousand per annum to the beneficiary family will be deposited directly in their bank account. According to the district wise information compiled under the Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Bhumiless Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana, 23 thousand 487 applications have been received in Raipur district. 12 thousand 361 in Balodabazar-Bhatapar, 13 thousand 989 in Gariaband, 13 thousand 244 in Dhamtari, 30 thousand 966 in Mahasamund, 17 thousand 702 in Durg, 9 thousand 793 in Balod, 10 thousand 8 in Bemetara, 16 thousand 12 in Rajnandgaon and 8 thousand 349 applications have been received in Kabirdham. Similarly, 2 thousand 380 applications have been received in Bastar district, 1 thousand 823 in Kondagaon, 5 thousand 561 in North Bastar Kanker, 306 in Narayanpur, 1 thousand 288 in South Bastar Dantewada, 1 thousand 668 in Sukma and 778 in Bijapur. In Bilaspur district, 25 thousand 535 applications have been received for registration under Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Bhumiless Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana. In Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, 2 thousand 866, Mungeli 4 thousand 947, Korba 11 thousand 281, Raigarh 23 thousand 705 and Janjgir-Champa 10 thousand 403 applications have been received. 441 applications have been received in Surguja district, 1 thousand 245 in Surajpur, 1 thousand 688 in Balrampur-Ramanujganj, 3 thousand 636 in Jashpur and 3 thousand 384 applications have been received under the scheme in Korea district.
