Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel will return an amount of Rs 2 crore 46 lakh to the investors of chit fund companies of Rajnandgaon district at 11 am in a program organized through video conferencing at his residence office on November 23. This amount has been received from auction of attached properties of chit fund companies. It is worth noting that under the guidance of Rajnandgaon Collector Taran Prakash Sinha, the process of attaching the properties of chit fund companies has been expedited. A massive campaign is being run to trace the assets of chit fund companies through Patwaris. On the basis of applications received from investors of chit fund companies, details of 300 companies have been prepared, which have been sent to the Police Department and the concerned Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue) office for investigation. Under which a total of 9.72 acres of land of chit fund company Shubh Sai Devkan India Limited in village Ghotia under Dongargarh tehsil has been submitted to the Special Court (District and Sessions Judge) for final order by passing an interim order for attachment. 2 crore 46 lakh has been received from the auction by attaching the properties of chit fund companies, it will be returned to the investors.
