Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel today inaugurated the beautification work of the statue of former Prime Minister Late Smt. Indira Gandhi at Kalibari Chowk in Raipur. The Chief Minister paid homage by paying homage at the statue of Late Smt. Indira Gandhi installed here. Home and Public Works Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu, Mayor Shri Ejaz Dhebar, MLA Dharsiwa Smt. Anita Yogendra Sharma, Chairman Municipal Corporation Raipur Shri Pramod Dubey, District Collector Raipur Shri Saurabh Kumar and local public representatives were present. Beautification work of late Smt. Indira Gandhi’s statue located at Kalibari Chowk has been done by Raipur Smart City Limited. Under this, the statue site has been given an attractive appearance with granite, mural art. This statue has been given a grand look with thematic light, statue shade. The 06 pillars installed here are giving a new look to the whole statue. Apart from this, a decorative boundary wall and landscaping work has also been done under this project.
