State employees will be given 5 percent additional dearness allowance in the seventh pay scale and 10 percent in the sixth pay scale from July 1, 2021. Now the state government employees will get dearness allowance at the rate of 17 percent in the seventh pay scale and 164 percent in the sixth pay scale. The amount of increased dearness allowance will be paid in cash from July 1, 2021. At present, from the month of January 2019, the government employees of the state government are being given dearness allowance at the rate of 12 percent in the seventh pay scale and at the rate of 154 percent in the sixth pay scale.
