मुख्यमंत्री ने स्कॉउट्स गाइड्स के ‘तारुण्य वार्ता‘ कार्यक्रम का किया शुभारंभ :

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel launched the ‘Tarunya Varta’ program for the mental and physical development of boys and girls in the age group of 10-25 years with the help of Bharat Scouts and Guides and UNICEF at his residence office this evening. He also released the program booklet and launched the logo on the occasion. The Chief Minister also handed over the warrant to Smt. Seema Verma, State Commissioner (Ranger) of Scout Guide on the occasion. The program named Tarunya Varta has been started to make them aware of their rights and duties to communicate with the youth, understand their problems, solve their curiosities, make them familiar with scientific facts. This program will prove effective in building a better society. Adolescents and adolescent girls will also get a platform to express themselves through the Tarunya Varta programme. Through this program, important topics like child protection, child rights, physical structure, gender equality, types of violence, child sexual abuse will be discussed with adolescents and adolescent girls. Presiding over the program, President of India Scouts and Guides and School Education Minister Dr. Premsai Singh Tekam said that Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has initiated social consciousness and awareness among adolescents and adolescent girls through the Tarunya Varta programme. He said that for mental and physical development, training would be given for this in all development blocks. Dr. Tekam said that the Tarunya Varta program is an important initiative, which will achieve a record in Chhattisgarh. He also conveyed his best wishes for the success of this program. State Chief Commissioner Scouts and Guides and Parliamentary Secretary Shri Vinod Sevenlal Chandrakar informed that the Rovers of Scouts and Guides, Rangers distributed masks during the Corona period, served as Corona Warriors in hospitals, arranging food for helpless persons, distribution of fruits and food like He has given his active participation in important social works. About 4 lakh saplings were planted in the state on World Environment Day, June 5, 2021, in which 60 thousand saplings were planted in Mungeli district alone. 1846 Scout-guide donated blood on Blood Donation Day and Teacher’s Day. He said that everyone was to be registered in the portal of online registration by the National Headquarters New Delhi, in which Chhattisgarh got the first position. On the work done during the Corona period, the scout-guide got the third place in the whole country. He requested the Chief Minister that permission should be given to start the activity of Scodt-Guide in the universities and colleges of Chhattisgarh. He said that due to Kovid-19 last year, Jamboree could not be organized in the state, it is to be organized in the coming time. UNICEF Chhattisgarh chief Mr Job Zakaria said that the Tarunya Varta program will work on health, nutrition, life skills, child rights and child protection. He suggested that the programs related to adolescents run through various departments in the state should be combined and its monitoring should be done at the state level.
