Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has extended his greetings and best wishes to the people of the state on the occasion of Kartik Purnima. Shri Baghel said that the full moon day has special significance in Hindu religion. The full moon of Kartik is considered to be the biggest full moon. It is believed that on the day of Kartik Purnima, bathing in holy rivers, donating lamps, performing Havan, Yagya brings virtuous benefits. There is also a special tradition of charity on this day in our culture.
