Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel has paid tribute to Thakur Pyarelal Singh, the architect of the labor movement in Chhattisgarh and the leader of the cooperative movement, on his death anniversary today. Recalling the contribution of Thakur Pyarelal Singh, Shri Baghel said that he has been instrumental in taking the freedom struggle forward in Chhattisgarh. He organized the students in Chhattisgarh and turned them towards the national movement and awakened the consciousness of public awareness. He fought for the rights of mill workers in Rajnandgaon and got their rights. Under his leadership, weavers in Chhattisgarh were organized and Chhattisgarh Weavers Association was established.
