The Minister of Women and Child Development and Social Welfare, Mrs. Anila Bhendia visited several villages of Daundi development block of Balod district to take stock of the progress of the schemes from the villagers and listened to their problems. On this occasion, he gifted various construction and development works to the villagers and motivated them to take advantage of the welfare schemes of the government. He encouraged women to take up various income-oriented activities by joining self-help groups and said that this would increase the income and improve the family situation. Smt. Bhendia constructed school compound in village Marramkheda, primary school building in village Keshopur, Singhola, Khallari, Kamta and Kusumtola, additional room in primary school in village Adejhar, community hall at Dhorrithema, CC road and compound in village Borgaon. He greeted the villagers by performing Bhoomipujan of various works in village Pusavad and Pateli including construction. Along with this, he knew the problems of the people by doing public relations in the villages. On the demand of the villagers, he announced to fulfill many demands like Anicut, Computer in Higher Secondary School, Cycle Stand, Mangal Bhawan etc. Congratulating everyone on the occasion of Navratri festival, Smt. Bhendia said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, continuous work is being done for the development of all sections of the society. To improve the economic condition of the people of Vananchal area, 52 types of minor forest produce are being purchased by the government at support price. The rate of tendu patta has been fixed at Rs.4000 per standard bag. He said that the happiness of the farmer lies with the swaying fields. The priority of the state government is that farmers should get enough water for irrigation. He also exhorted the villagers to follow the Kovid-19 guideline and apply the vaccine to prevent corona virus infection. On this occasion, District Panchayat President Smt.
