प्रदेश में हुक्का बार पूरी तरह प्रतिबंधित हो: मुख्यमंत्री श्री भूपेश बघेल

Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel in the conference of Superintendents of Police and Inspector General of Police today bluntly said that hookah bars should be completely banned in the state. Chief Minister Shri Baghel has directed to take strict action to check drug trade in the state. The Chief Minister said that intoxicants coming from other states should not enter Chhattisgarh. He said that not even a single leaf of ganja should be allowed to enter Chhattisgarh from other state. A conference of Superintendents of Police and Inspector General of Police was held at New Circuit House Auditorium here today under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mr. Bhupesh Baghel. Home Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu, Agriculture Minister Shri Ravindra Choubey, Chief Secretary Shri Amitabh Jain, Additional Chief Secretary, Home Department Shri Subrata Sahu, Director General of Police Shri D.M. Awasthi, senior officials of Home Department and Deputy Secretary of Chief Minister’s Secretariat Ms. Soumya attended the conference. Chaurasia was present. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel said in the conference that our government, administration and police have done unprecedented work during the COVID pandemic. You have done excellent work in the interest of migrant laborers. He congratulated and congratulated all the officers and employees for this. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel told the Superintendents of Police and Inspector General of Police that communal and chaotic elements are trying to give a big shape to small incidents. All the Superintendents of Police should identify them, develop their intelligence system because such incidents have a direct impact on the peace and order of the state and the image of the government. The Chief Minister said that at every level, the information system should be developed at the police station, sub-division, district and range level. The Superintendent of Police should form a special team of social media monitoring in every district to identify those who spread rumors on social media and take action. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel said that opportunistic elements spread rumours, propaganda and misleading news to take political advantage of small incidents. It is important to recognize and take action. Social media has become one of the biggest means of spreading rumours. It is also necessary to develop a strong intelligence system in social media. In the meeting, officials said that there has been a 32 percent reduction in murder cases as compared to 2011 and 37 percent in attempted murder as compared to 2011. Percentage has come down. Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel has directed the IG-SP to hold a meeting with the officers of the border states of Odisha, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan for effective prevention of drugs. So far 774 directors and office bearers of chit fund companies have been arrested in the state. Chief Minister Mr. Baghel has directed all the SP-IGs to immediately arrest the remaining absconding directors and office bearers of the chit fund company. He has asked all the SPs to take action by fixing a time limit for this. The Chief Minister said that the Collector and the SP, in coordination with each other, should mark other properties of chit fund companies and take action to attach them immediately.
