At the residence of Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel in the capital Raipur, today, for the third consecutive year, Tihar of the traditional Pora-Teeja was celebrated with great pomp, in which women from all over Chhattisgarh participated. Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel himself appeared in the role of guardian. He extended festive greetings and wishes to all mothers and sisters. On this occasion, special arrangements were made for Tijharin daughters and sisters at the Chief Minister’s residence. The Chief Minister’s residence complex was decorated according to the tradition and customs of Chhattisgarh. After the program, all the women were given farewell by giving Teeja sari, makeup items and Chhattisgarhi dishes. The taste of dishes along with the traditional songs, music, sports and games of Chhattisgarh doubled the enthusiasm of the women. Women and Child Development Minister Smt. Anila Bhendia thanked the Chief Minister for organizing this event for multiple daughters. The women who reached the Chief Minister’s residence showed maiden enthusiasm. Everyone relished the taste of Typhari-Khurmi, Aisa, Pidiya, Curry Laddu with the joy of Raichuli-Chakri Jhoola and danced fiercely in Chhattisgarhia songs and music like Chaura Ma Gonda, Jhupat-Jhupat…. The Chief Minister and women’s public representatives also gave full support to the women. All the women arrived dressed in traditional Chhattisgarhi jewelry and clothes. Minister Smt.
