It has been developed with the objective of bringing transparency within the concept of e-governance as a single window system. Under this system, all the necessary documents (except service book) are submitted online and digitally signed PPOs/GPOs/CPOs are issued for resolving pension cases. All the documents are also sent to the bank online by the treasuries for the payment of pension to the banks. As a result of the implementation of this system, the requirement of physical presence of the pensioners for the first pension payment has been done away with. In order to provide pension related information to the pensioners, the facility of ‘Pensioner Login Corner’ is available on the ‘Aabhaar Aapki Services Ka’ portal, through which the status of the case can be known and pension related complaints can be registered online. . Pensioner corner has been developed in E-Kosh Lite app for pensioners through which PPO/GPO/CPO. And the facility of downloading the digital copy of the identity card has been provided to the pensioners. Along with this, information about each stage of the pension process is being made available to the pensioner through ‘SMS’.
