After that, under the guidance of the department, he tried his hand in vegetable vegetable production with determination and started growing gourd, ladyfinger, bitter gourd in his 2 acres of land and obviously it also started getting expected results and presently greens are growing in his fields. Anjor seems to be spreading. Anjori says that she received Drip Sprinkler, Power Weeder as a grant from the department. In this way, as a Rabi crop, he cultivated chillies in his 1 acre in 2020-21, in which he earned a total profit of Rs 7.24 lakh at a cost of Rs 2.80 lakh. He also says that under the continuous contact guidance of the Horticulture Department and under the National Horticulture Mission, we are producing good and more crops are now getting better and more than before. In this way, they get information about new schemes by the department, as well as all the problems are easily solved by implementation. National Horticulture Mission, making its campaign meaningful, is bringing revolutionary changes in the farming practices of the farmers of the district where Earlier the farmers of the district used to depend only on the cultivation of paddy, today they are focusing their attention on the production of other beneficial crops and vegetables other than traditional agriculture. It is worth mentioning here that in remote areas of the district where small and medium farmers did not have other agricultural options other than paddy, it can be said that under the guidance of National Horticulture, enthusiasm has spread among the farmers who are willing to do new agricultural experiments. . Farmer Anjori Netam tells Bebaki that in the new changing agricultural experiment, it is wise to do agriculture with the new practice and above all, the cooperation given by the department in this is a big support, especially the local farmers by expanding the vegetable sector of the National Horticulture Mission. It has helped in increasing the production of green vegetables and with a significant improvement in their standard of living and now the local farmers do not hesitate to do new experiments and small farmers like them are getting benefitted.
