On Thursday, under the chairmanship of District Panchayat President Devchand Matlam, in the meeting room of the District Panchayat, an honor ceremony was organized for the BC Sakhis under the Amrit Mahotsav of Independence. 93 BC Sakhis working in all the development blocks took part in this function. Where the District Panchayat President gave trophy, citation and coat (blazer) as an honor to 09 Sakhis who did excellent work as BC Sakhi. In this, BC Sakhi Santoshi Sinha of development block Keshkal was given the first prize for payment of maximum amount of 4.88 crore through 17540 transactions. On the other hand, Sanita Salam of Baderajpur was given second prize for 4.80 crores by 20320 transactions and third prize to Banita Manikpuri of Makdi development block for payment of 2.33 crores by 8996 transactions. Apart from this, Pushpa Netam of Farsgaon was given fourth, Astina Netam of Keshkal was given fifth prize, Sharda Jain of Farasgaon got 6th position, Hemkanti Pandey of Kondagaon got 7th position, Radhika Baghel of Makdi got 8th position and Ganeshwari Sori of Baderajpur got 9th position. Apart from this, all the sakhis were honored for benefitting the people by doing good deeds. During this, District Panchayat President Devchand Matlam said that BC Sakhis are serving people in modern society by working as banks in backward villages. Through these, banking facilities are being reached even in such areas where modern facilities are not available. With this, such beneficiaries of remote villages who are not able to come to the cities and who are physically disabled, they get the amount of various schemes and MNREGA payment sitting at home. Due to the presence of BC sakhis, villagers do their work without worry. In this program, District Panchayat Deputy President Bhagwati Patel, District Panchayat members including LDM Pradeep Shukla, DD Panchayat BR More, DMM Vinay Singh, DPM Duryodhan Megh, Kunjlal Sinha, Nitesh Devangan, APO D Dhruv and other officers and all BC friends were present.
