On the call of Chhattisgarh Public Relations Officers Association, all the officers and employees of the Public Relations Department of all the divisional and district headquarters of the state are being worked today by wearing black bands. It is noteworthy that in this context, Chhattisgarh Public Relations Officer Employees Union along with Chief Secretary, Secretary General Administration Department, Secretary Public Relations Department and Commissioner Public Relations Directorate Raipur and Chhattisgarh State Gazetted Officers Association have been duly given a memorandum on 6 October 2021. Under this, from the Directorate of Public Relations in the capital Raipur to the public relations offices of all the districts, all the officers and employees will work in support of their demands by putting black bands and it has been decided to go on indefinite penal strike from October 12, 2021. It is worth mentioning that Chhattisgarh Public Relations Officer. A demand has been made by the union to place a senior officer of the Public Relations Department in place of the officer of the State Administrative Service or other services on the post of Director of the Directorate. On the other hand, according to the decision taken by the cabinet earlier, other demands have been made in Chhattisgarh Samvad including posting of officers of Public Relations Department on deputation posts of Public Relations Officers. In support, it is demanded that the officers of the State Administrative Service posted in the Public Relations Department and other departments should be immediately returned and the officers of other departments should be posted in place of the officers of the State Administrative Service. Supporting these demands, the officers and employees of Public Relations Department of Kondagaon also worked with black bands.
