In August 2021 / Khelo India Youth Games, the players who have won medals in the year 2019 and 2020 will be honored by the state government by giving them cash. The date of submission of application for this has been fixed as 15 September 2021. The winning players of Khelo India Youth Games will have to apply separately for different sports. The application form will have to be submitted with the recommendation of the State Sports Federations to the District Office of the Sports and Youth Welfare Department or the Directorate of Sports and Youth Welfare. The draft advertisement of application forms can be downloaded from the website of the department www.sportsyw.cg.gov.in. As incentive, in Youth Games, gold medalist in individual sports will be given Rs.02 lakh, silver medalist will be given Rs.1.50 lakh and bronze medalist will be given Rs.01 lakh. Similarly, for team sports, an amount of Rs. 01 lakh will be given to the gold medalist, Rs. 75 thousand to the silver medalist and Rs. 50 thousand to the bronze medalist.
