केले की खेती के लिए प्रति हेक्टेयर 50 हजार रूपए का अनुदान

Banana tissue culture in 1293 hectare area was done by about 720 farmers in the state in the year 2019-20. By planting saplings, 3 lakh 88 thousand tonnes of bananas were produced. In the year 2021-22 also, a target of 1000 AD has been set for the expansion of banana area. The National Horticulture Mission scheme is being operated by the Department of Horticulture. Balod, Balodabazar, Balrampur, Bemetara, Bilaspur, Durg, Gariaband, Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, Jagdalpur, Jashpur, Kabirdham, Kondagaon, Korba, Korea, Mungeli, Raigarh, Raipur, Rajnandgaon, Surajpur and Surguja districts are covered under this scheme. . The farmers are being benefited by the expansion of banana area, a component of the National Horticulture Mission scheme. In Chhattisgarh state, mainly banana variety G-9 variety is planted abundantly for commercial cultivation. Farmers can get production for 2-3 years by planting banana plants once in their field. By planting an average of 3 thousand banana saplings per hectare in the state, production can be obtained up to 250-500 quintals. An average cost of one lakh 10 thousand rupees per hectare on commercial cultivation of banana, whereas for three years, profit can be earned from 5 lakh to 10 lakh rupees by getting continuous fruit from it.
