उचित मुल्य के दुकानों में खाद्यानों का नमूना होगा प्रदर्शित

Chhattisgarh State Food Commission Chairman Shri Gurpreet Singh Babra reviewed the implementation of the provisions of the National Food Security Act 2012. Review meeting was held at Nava Raipur. Shri Babra inquired about Supplementary Nutrition Diet Scheme, Mid-Day Meal Scheme, Maternity Benefit Scheme under National Food Security Act and Chhattisgarh Food and Nutrition Security Act. In the meeting, he gave BPL to the Ashram-Hostel run by the Tribal and Scheduled Castes Development Department. Also reviewed the distribution of food grains provided at the rate. The Chairman of the Food Commission, Shri Babara instructed the officers to display the samples of food grains in fair price shops and to constitute a monitoring committee. Shri Babra said that keeping in mind the interest of the eligible beneficiaries, pending cases should be resolved soon. He said that small children, pregnant and lactating women come to the Anganwadi centers, the effect of infection is quick on them. Therefore, there is a need to take extra care for their nutrition, health and safety. He also directed for regular monitoring of Anganwadi centers. Shri Babra said that quality hot and fresh food, nutritious food should be given to children, pregnant women and mothers. He directed to make proper arrangements for transportation and storage of sweet flavored milk given to children in Anganwadi centers to avoid infection. Shri Babra said in the meeting that writing toll free numbers 1967 and 18002333663 and banners, posters should be made mandatory in all Anganwadi centers of the state. He asked to resolve the complaints received within 15 days. Instructions were given to display the toll free number 1800231152 of the School Education Department in all the schools. He said that special attention should be paid to ensure that children get the right quantity and quality of food in the medium meal. Attention was also drawn to ensure that the right quantity and nutritious food should be available in the ashram-hostels run by the Tribal and Scheduled Castes Development Department. Sikarwar, Shri Subhash Mishra from Women and Child Development Department, Shri DS Chauhan from District Education Department, Shri Santosh Agrawal from Civil Supplies Corporation District-Raipur and Food Officer Shri Tarun Rathore were present.
