आदिवासियों के आस्था के केन्द्र बड़ेडोंगर और अमर शहीद गैंद सिंह की कर्मस्थलीपरलकोट पर्यटन स्थल के रूप में होगी विकसित: श्री भूपेश बघेल

Chief Minister Shri Bhupesh Baghel, during a discussion with the delegation of Halba tribal society at his residence office here today, announced to develop Baradongar, the center of faith of the tribals and Paralkot, the place of pilgrimage of Amar Shaheed Gaind Singh, as a tourist destination. He said that the biography of Shaheed Gaind Singh would be included in the syllabus. During discussion with the delegation of Halba tribal society, Mr. Baghel inquired about the field situation of various welfare schemes of the government and sought suggestions from them regarding the upliftment of tribal society and development of the area. The Chief Minister said that for the first time the support price of Kodo-Kutki and Ragi has been declared by the State Government. From the month of November, arrangements will be made for their purchase, milling and marketing. Lok Sabha MP Mr. Deepak Baij, Rajya Sabha MP Mrs. Chhaya Verma, Women and Child Development Minister Mrs. Anila Bhendia were also present on the occasion. During the discussion, the Chief Minister said that proposals should be prepared under the Narva Yojana for water recharging in the rivers and streams of their area through sarpanches to increase irrigation facilities in the tribal areas. This will increase the irrigation facility in these areas and also increase the ground water level. The Chief Minister said that Narva Yojana has been started for water recharging in rivers and streams. There are about 30 thousand drains in Chhattisgarh. On which works of water conservation and conservation are being done by making small structures including anicuts, stop dams. He said that structures have been made in about 1200 drains this year. Due to which irrigation facility is being provided in about 2 lakh acres. During the discussion, the people involved in the delegation had urged for the construction of Anicuts on the rivers and streams of Vananchal area. The Chief Minister said that the State Government is making efforts to increase the income of the people through various schemes and provide them better opportunities for education, health and employment. He said that people’s income is increasing due to schemes like loan waiver, paddy procurement, Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana, increase in the remuneration rate of tendu patta, purchase of 52 minor forest produce and value addition in them. He also mentioned Godhan Nyay Yojana and Rajiv Gandhi Grameen Bhumiless Krishi Mazdoor Nyay Yojana. Shri Baghel said that he also urged the delegation to include matters like treatment of needy patients, education of children and connecting people with employment on priority in their social meetings. He said that the society should also make efforts to get forest rights recognition letters to the eligible people.
