While addressing the ‘National Unity Day’ program organized at 4th Battalion Mana on the birthday of the first Home Minister and Deputy Prime Minister of independent India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, Home Minister Shri Tamradhwaj Sahu said that Sardar Vallabhbhai is in the making and national integration of Akhand Bharat. Patel has a significant contribution. He said that Sardar Patel played an important role in India’s freedom movement as well as worked to unite India. The vast and united India we see today would not have been complete without the strong will power and able leadership of Iron Man Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Sardar Patel included small princely states, royal houses of the country in India. Shri Sahu said that due to the strong will power and efficient leadership of Sardar Patel, the princely states also merged with the Indian Union. Vallabhbhai Patel has done remarkable work in making independent India a huge nation. Minister Shri Sahu took the salute of the Sadbhavna Parade on this occasion and administered the oath to work sincerely for national unity and integrity. He also visited the photo exhibition of martyrs during this period. The Home Minister Shri Sahu said that Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was an ideal personality as well as a fearless, courageous and strong personality. In 1991, he was awarded the Bharat Ratna, the country’s highest national honor, for playing an important role in the integration of the country. Shri Sahu said that people of many religions and castes reside in our country, whose living habits, food habits, dress, beliefs and their languages are different. Despite all this, the people of the whole country are imbued with the feeling of nationalism, which is the highest example of national unity. He said that even after independence, our security forces in some parts of the country are still fulfilling their obligations of protection from internal and external destructive forces like terrorism and Naxalism and will continue to do so. Minister Shri Sahu said that to make the country more strong, we all have to follow the paths and policies laid down by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. On this occasion Director General of Police Shri D.M.
