Raipur: The last phase of International Masters League (IML) 2025 saw a match between cricket veterans. Although Sachin Tendulkar did not play the match, India Masters team scored a big score of 253/3 thanks to the half -centuries of Ambati Rayudu and Saurabh Tiwari and the explosive innings of Yuvraj Singh.
Match thrill
West Indies Masters captain Brian Lara won the toss and chose bowling first, but India Masters made a tremendous start. The new opening pair of Rayudu (63) and Saurabh Tiwari (60) under the leadership of acting captain Yuvraj Singh batted aggressively and scored 51 runs in the powerplay.
Rayudu scored a fierce half -century in 30 balls, including eight fours and four sixes. He took an aggressive stance on the bowling of Ashley Nurse and Suleman Ben, but Ben broke the 94 -run opening partnership and dismissed Rayudu for 63 off 35 balls.
Middle order performance
Saurabh Tiwari also scored a half -century in 32 balls and shared a 79 -run partnership with Gurkirat Singh Mann (46). Gurkirat hit a brilliant sixes off the ball of Jonathan Carter, but was dismissed for 46 runs. Saurabh Tiwari also tried to further his innings, but Jerome Taylor was dismissed for 60 off 37 balls off the ball. His innings included seven fours and two sixes.
Yuvraj’s Atishi batting
In the end, captain Yuvraj Singh showed aggressive game as soon as he arrived and hit an unbeaten 49 off just 20 balls. He rained sixes in old style, while Yusuf Pathan (14*) supported him at the other end. Together, the two shared an unbeaten partnership of 67 runs and brought the team to 253/3.
