Should Vaibhav Suryavanshi receive a slot in the series against England, he would set a new milestone as the youngest player to feature in a Men’s T20 International. The existing record is held by Joshua Little of Ireland, who played his first T20I at 16 years, 309 days. A successful debut would also place Suryavanshi ahead of Sachin Tendulkar, who entered international cricket at the age of 16. As it stands, the opportunity has not materialised, leaving the record untouched.
