Young Indian Yogini Aims for Gold After Impressive Silver Finish at UYSSF 2026
Havra, September 9 – At the recently concluded UYSSF International Yoga Games in Bangkok, 15‑year‑old Trisha Mann secured a silver medal, finishing second among a field of elite international competitors. The teenager expressed her delight, saying she felt proud to bring a medal home to India.
“The performance was strong, and I am very happy with the result,” Trisha said. “My goal now is to reach the International Tournament and fight for the gold.”
She acknowledged the crucial role played by her coach, Amar, and the unwavering support from her parents, which helped her maintain focus throughout the event. Balancing school work with rigorous training, Trisha is currently in the 10th grade.
The UYSSF International Yoga Games, organized by the Universal Yoga Sports Federation, is a premier platform that invites top yoga athletes, coaches, judges, and scholars from the Asia‑Pacific zone and beyond.
