New Delhi, 15 July – As the FIH Hockey World Cup 2026 draws near, India’s men’s team is sharpening its edge at the SAIs training hub in Bengaluru. Head coach Craig Fullton outlined a progressive plan: initial days were spent re‑establishing footwork and stamina, while the current focus is on layered tactical sessions and mental sharpness. Physical conditioning remains a priority, with strong emphasis on core strength and endurance, followed by scenario‑based drills that test decision speed. Daily video reviews help fine‑tune already strong aspects of the side. The squad, riding high after impressive results against Germany, the Netherlands, Pakistan and England in the Pro League, will start its World Cup campaign on 15 August against Wales.
