The Balayogi Stadium echoed with cheers as these teams showcased top-tier kabaddi prowess.
Railways, the reigning champions, started strong by thrashing Maharashtra 58-23. Sakshi’s 10-point raid spree and Pooja’s nine points formed the backbone of the attack. Sonali Shingte and Mandira Sampat Komkar’s defensive masterstrokes left Maharashtra reeling from start to finish.
Haryana followed suit with a clinical 63-16 rout of Madhya Pradesh. Raj Rani’s explosive 17 points, alongside Ruci (11) and Nikita (10), highlighted their unbeatable raiding duo, turning the match into a one-sided affair early on.
Tamil Nadu survived a nail-biter against Chandigarh, winning 39-37. Karthika R shouldered the load with 15 points, backed by Suzy M’s nine. Chandigarh pushed hard with Anjali’s 10 and Monika Rani’s seven, but Tamil Nadu’s key-moment heroics prevailed.
Himachal Pradesh rounded out the winners by defeating Punjab 48-25. Pushpa topped the charts with 16 points, Jyoti added 12, while Punjab’s Simran Kamboj notched 17 but couldn’t bridge the gap as Himachal controlled the tempo.
