There was swelling and ulcers in his mouth. However, his condition is stable.
An official of the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) said without giving further details of the matter, ‘He (Mayank) is not in any kind of danger. He is currently under observation in a hospital in Agartala and after getting updates from the doctors, we will take him back to Bengaluru. There is no truth in the rumor flying. He is now stable, and we are in touch with doctors and other officials of the state.
