Warmley showdown: Pakistan U19 defeats England U19 by 200 runs

The fourth Youth One‑Day encounter between Pakistan and England under‑19 squads took place in Warmley on 16 September. Pakistan’s total of 350/4 eclipsed England’s 150 all out, delivering a 200‑run win and sealing the series 3‑1.

Usman Khan and Jhangir Bilal opened with a 148‑run partnership; Jhangir’s 79 featured 13 fours, while Usman’s 79 included ten boundaries. After their dismissals, Abdul Qadir added 22 runs, and the captain Farhan Yousaf (80*) partnered with Ahmed Hussain (63) for an additional 144 runs.

England’s innings stalled at 150/9 after 20.4 overs. Captain Ralfie Albert’s 46 came with two sixes and six fours, but no other batsman reached double figures. Subhan Ali claimed one wicket, while Subhan Ali, Ralphy Albert and George Harris shared England’s wickets across the innings.
