Trisha Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand advance to pre‑quarterfinals

World Championship medalists Trisha Jolly and Gayatri Gopichand moved into the women’s doubles pre‑quarterfinals after defeating Hong Kong‑China’s Lui Lok Lok and Tsang Hiu Yan. They took the opening game 21‑16, dropped the second 16‑21, and recovered in the decider to win 21‑16.

Their performance demonstrated resilience and set up a potential clash with a higher‑seeded pairing in the next round.
