Tripura’s Group C Fixtures Highlight Early Season Battles

Tripura’s campaign in the Saeed Mushtaq Ali Trophy’s Group C will unfold entirely at two venues – New Chandigarh and Mohali. The opening match is scheduled for November 14 in New Chandigarh, where Tripura will face Andhra. Two days later, on November 16, the team travels to Mohali to take on Puducherry.

The third fixture returns to New Chandigarh on November 18, with a clash against Madhya Pradesh, followed by a Mohali showdown against Kerala on November 20, concluding the first round of the group stage.

After the initial quartet of games, Tripura’s itinerary continues with three more encounters: a November 22 visit to Mohali to meet Himachal Pradesh, a November 24 home contest against Maharashtra in New Chandigarh, and finally a November 26 clash with Assam on the same ground. The tightly packed schedule tests the depth of the squad, especially the pace unit led by vice‑captain Abhijit Sarkar and the spin trio led by Vikki Saaha.
