Three Delhi Golf Club Players Selected for Singapore Amateur Championship

The Indian Golf Union has announced that Deepak Yadav, Chaitanya Pandey and Ranveer Mitru of Delhi Golf Club will don the national colors at the 78th Singapore Open Amateur Championship. The competition will be held from 14 to 17 July on the Bukit Course at Singapore Island Country Club.

Deepak Yadav entered the IGU’s Gentlemen Merit List at the top spot for March 2026, thanks to consistent high‑level play in WAGR events and a strong showing at the Hero Indian Open 2026, where he recorded a –10 under par DGC course record.

Ranveer Mitru’s decade‑long coaching relationship with Amandip Johal, now CEO of the DP World Professional Golf Tour of India, has sharpened his technical and competitive edge. He was runner‑up in the 2025 Singapore Junior Championship Boys Division A, posting rounds of 69, 72 and 69 for a six‑under‑par total, and later finished fifth at the Asia‑Pacific Golf Confederation Junior Championships.

Chaitanya Pandey earned a sixth‑place ranking on the March 2026 Gentlemen Merit List after a series of victories in WAGR events. His recent performance at the NCR Cup was dominant, winning his category by eight strokes and securing the overall boys’ A and B combined title.

Competing in the Singapore Open Amateur provides the Indian trio with vital international exposure and the opportunity to test their abilities against some of the strongest amateur talent in the region.
