Suresh Gopi Pushes for World‑Class Sports Complex in Thiruvananthapuram

State tourism minister Suresh Gopi, a longtime resident of the capital, toured the stadium with Kerala University Vice‑Chancellor Dr. Mohanan Kunnummal and finance member R.S. Shashikumar. He confirmed that central assistance of Rs 100 crore could be secured, contingent on a detailed feasibility report from the university.
