Sunar and Krishna return to India’s playing XI for crucial match

The fourth T20 sees the comeback of two key Indian players. All‑rounder Washington Sundar and seasoned all‑rounder Prashant Krishna have been reinstated in the playing eleven after being left out of the previous game.

Both players bring a blend of batting solidity and useful spin. Sundar’s ability to contain runs in the middle overs and Krishna’s experience in high‑pressure situations are expected to bolster India’s chase.

The squad that will take the field comprises Abhishek Sharma, Vaibhav Suriesh, Ishan Kishan (wk), captain Shreyas Iyer, Tilak Varma, Shivam Dube, Washington Sundar, Akshar Patel, Prince Yadav, Arshdeep Singh, and Prashant Krishna.

England’s lineup features Phil Salt, Jos Buttler (wk), captain Harry Brook, Jacob Bethell, Tom Banton, Sam Curran, Will Jacks, Rehan Ahmed, Jofra Archer, Adil Rashid, and Josh Tongue.

A win would narrow the series gap and revive India’s chances of turning the contest around.
