Sumit Antil, the Indian para-athlete, secured his third consecutive gold medal at the World Para Athletics Championships, triumphing in the F64 class. His winning throw measured an impressive 71.37 meters. This victory adds to his already decorated career, which includes gold medals from the 2023 and 2024 editions of the championship, as well as two Paralympic gold medals from Tokyo (2021) and Paris (2024). Antil is also the reigning Asian Paralympic Games champion. Pradeep Kumar of India finished with a best throw of 42.72m, while Tomas Soto claimed silver. Another Indian athlete, Sandip Sargar, won a gold medal in the Men’s javelin throw F44 category with a throw of 62.82 meters. Sandeep Chaudhary secured silver in the same category with a throw of 62.67 meters.
