Australia’s batting effort of 165/8 was anchored by Green’s 67, Smith’s 42 and Lyon’s 32. The bowlers continued the momentum, with Pat Cummins and Nathan Lyon each picking up three wickets.

Bangladesh’s top scorer, captain Najmul Hossain Shanto, managed 31, while Mushfiqur Rahman contributed an unbeaten 29. No other batsman reached double figures, and the team succumbed to a 51‑run defeat, equalising the series at 1‑1.
