Group B Fixtures for Sri Lanka Women's Team at UAE Asia Cup Unveiled

The schedule for the Women's Asia Cup has been confirmed, placing Sri Lanka in Group B alongside Bangladesh, the United Arab Emirates and newcomers Indonesia. The first match for the defending champions will be on August 29 when they face the hosts at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

The second fixture is set for September 2 against Indonesia, providing an early opportunity to secure points. The final group game arrives on September 6, when Sri Lanka will take on Bangladesh in what could be a crucial showdown for semi‑final qualification.

All seven matches in the tournament will be played in the T20 format, with each side playing three group games. The top two teams from Group B will advance to the semi‑finals scheduled for September 10 and 11, leading to the championship final on September 13.

Sri Lanka's squad, captained by Chamari Athapattu and supported by vice‑captain Harshitha Samaravikrama, is ready to defend the title they won in 2024.
